Textures

Wood & Washi's performance collection — certified, functional fabrics that never trade away the look.

Light control, fire safety and acoustic comfort — engineered into fabric, without compromising the design.

Textures performance fabric in a Wood & Washi interior

Textures is the technical side of Wood & Washi. Where our washi carries heritage and softness, Textures brings certified performance: precise light control from sheer to total blackout, flame-retardant fabrics certified to the European B1 standard, and a broad range of decorative weaves. It is the material made for demanding interiors — premium residential, hospitality and commercial spaces where function matters as much as form.

Every fabric is tested, eco-friendly and made to measure. So you specify the performance a project needs, and keep the unmistakable Wood & Washi aesthetic.

Impeccable quality

Tested and safe

Performance is only valuable when it's proven. Textures fabrics are flame-retardant and certified to the European B1 standard — the level hospitality and commercial projects require — and every component is tested for safety and comfort. They remain natural and environmentally conscious: a "green" window that keeps your interior connected to nature, now backed by the certifications professionals need to specify with confidence.

Light, precisely controlled

Textures gives you the full range of light. Sheer fabrics at 3% and 5% transparency filter daylight into a soft, diffused glow; blackout blocks it entirely; and a wide decorative range sits in between. Whatever the level, the collection shares one coherent design language — so light control never comes at the cost of consistency across a space.

Blackout

Total darkness, engineered in three layers. The outer layer faces the window and absorbs incoming light. The middle layer adds heat resistance and flame retardancy for maximum safety. The inner layer is a textile face directed into the room — decorative, while deepening the overall opacity.
